La Orquesta
del Plata

With its roots in the Milonga at Teatro del Plata in Mataderos, one of the City of Buenos Aires' public theater network, and led by musician and composer Poly Pérez, La Orquesta del Plata was created to celebrate the essence of traditional tango while opening the door to new sounds and possibilities.

Deeply rooted in the tango tradition, the orchestra builds a bridge between the classic, the popular, and the contemporary. Its repertoire moves through tangos, waltzes, and milongas, drawing on the history and richness of these genres while bringing them to life with a fresh, energetic, and deeply emotional approach.
